Live Demo Allows you to See How the Random Moment Sampling Service Works

The Random Moment Sampling (RMS) Service demo highlights the automated contacts and simple end user interface designed to insure high levels of participation and data accuracy in your random moment sampling studies.

When you click HERE you will go to the live RMS Demo site which allows you to test the RMS service. The site requests your contact information and your desired test time.

Your phone number is used to delivery the automated reminder phone call. Your email address allows you to receive the prompt email which provides the link to the data collection web site. Please remember that in your own RMS studies you will customize each of these steps to the exact needs of your organization.

The Requested Start Time you enter allows you to insure that you will be at your phone/computer when the automated messages are sent so that you can experience the full RMS services process.  If you want the demo to begin almost immediately enter a time a one or two minutes ahead of the current time at your location.

The demo input screen is shown below.

You will first receive an automated phone message which will direct you to the email a sample of which is shown below. Please note that the RMS service brochure will be attached for your immediate review.

The email contains a link which when clicked will take you to the demo data collection web site as shown below.

Make your selections from the right side of the window. If you hover over an item with an a pop up window will appear with a description of this item. The administrator can add descriptions like these to all selections at any level in the live system.

As you make your choices they are displayed on the left side of the screen. Below is the window showing the last level for this selection.

When the last item is selected from the right side of the screen the window will confirm the selection and will display any additional input fields. In this demo. the first two fields (Working on Case and Case Number) simulate these additional fields. The Working on Case prompt is configured to be a Compulsive field. You may enter anything you like in the Case Number field or even leave it blank.

The last prompt, Refer this Demo to Others allows you to add up to 3 colleagues whom you think would be interested in trying the demo. Use the drop down box to see the Referral options.

When you click the SAVE button, If you respond YES to this prompt you will be able to enter the required contact information.

Click DONE when you have made your entries.

An introductory email will be sent to the colleagues you enter and they can then input their own demo start time and start the cycle from the beginning.

If you do not make an entry within 2 hours after receiving the prompt email, you will receive a reminder email similar to the one shown below.
It indicates that you have a total of 24 hours from the Requested Sample Time  to make the entry  before a Missed Entry is recorded.

Once an entry is made you can review and edit your responses by clicking on the same link. A screen similar to the one shown below will appear.

Notice that there is a gray area with the same data. It is the data currently in the database. The colored area at the bottom allows you to make any necessary changes. If you want to change any part of your input click on the Survey Reply title bar. A screen similar to the one shown below will appear.

You may now click on the highest level needed to modify and make the selections beginning at that point. The new entry will be added to the database and all audit trails will be maintained.
