Intuitive Participant Interface - the Key to Success

The RMS service’s end user interface is designed to be learned in minutes and to take only seconds to complete a random moment entry.

When an entry is required, the participant will first receive and automated phone call to advise them to check their email. A sample alert email is shown below:

This email will contain details about the project and a link to the RMS service’s data collection web site.
When the participant clicks on the link they are taken directly to the RMS data collection screen. No sign in is required as the RMS service knows the source of every entry.

The data prompted for is based on the exact requirements for your organization. It can be between one and eight levels of prompts. In the example presented below we have a four level prompt where we are looking to identify the :

bulletProgram
bulletTransaction
bulletTask
bulletDetail

The first level Program options are presented. In this case you are being requested to select the program you are working on.

When moving the mouse over the options a detailed description of each option can be displayed. The availability of descriptive text reduces data entry errors by participants.

Selecting a Program will move the selection to the survey reply area on the left of the screen. You will then be prompted for the program transaction.

As before selecting the Transaction will move it to the survey reply area on the left. A listing of the different tasks that may comprise the selected transaction are presented.

Selecting the Transaction
will move it to the survey reply area on the left. A listing of the available details of that task are then are presented.

Once the Detail information has been entered, the service can optionally prompt for any additional information required by the service provider. Entries can be picked from selections of predefined lists or the participant can manually enter the data.

Each entry can be configured as optional or compulsory - the exclamation next to the Working on Case? prompt indicates that a response to that prompt is compulsory.

Upon completion click the Save button.

The participant will be given a final opportunity to confirm their entry and to make any edits required. Clicking the Don button will date and time-stamp the entry and save it to the RMS database.
